Melissa McFadden is an Audiologist and Owner of Halton Hearing Centre, one of Oakville’s most established hearing healthcare clinics. A dedicated Clinical and Dispensing Audiologist since 2006, Melissa brings nearly two decades of experience to her work.

She provides comprehensive hearing assessments for individuals aged five and older, and specializes in the prescription and dispensing of hearing aids and assistive listening devices (ALDs). In addition to fitting advanced amplification technology, Melissa offers expert hearing aid repairs, adjustments, and ongoing support to ensure optimal performance. She is committed to delivering personalized recommendations and thoughtful counselling tailored to each patient’s unique communication needs. 

Melissa earned her Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo and her Master of Science in Audiology from the University of Western Ontario. She has extensive research experience and has published work in the areas of auditory processing and the development of the auditory nervous system in infants.

She is a licensed member of the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and a member of the Canadian Academy of Audiology (CAA).

In her free time, Melissa loves caring for her lively Havanese, Sadie, unwinding with a good book or true crime podcast, discovering new foods, and sharing time with friends and family.
