For the past several weeks, I have been working through a robust curriculum of education leading to the Certified Professional Consultant on Aging (CPCA)® designation.
I am pleased to let you know that I completed the training successfully, and can now hold myself out as a Certified Professional Consultant on Aging (CPCA)® in good standing!
What a great educational experience! I learned more about some of the age-related changes that influence our quality of life now, and discovered ways to prepare even better for the future and meet the needs of individuals with hearing loss. I have a deeper appreciation of the key and sometimes subtle challenges associated with growing older, and am better prepared to offer insight, service, and referral to collaborative support services.
As a CPCA, I will continue to have access to practical educational content and client support materials, and look forward to sharing great information with you!
We all have a role to play in helping to create a world that each of us would want to continue to age into. I am honoured to be able to do this with an enhanced appreciation of the issues, challenges, and solutions.
